New York's own Anodyne are back. After the releases of several demos and EPs and an album for Escape Artist Records, Anodyne now serve up their newest work entitled Salo. Anodyne have been constructing with Salo some of their most hard-hitting material to date. Still pummeling and technical, the songs are even more chaotic with a rawer, unpolished feel. St. Paul Minnesota the other half of the Twin Cities Hardcore scene has a long tradition of raw fast Hardcore from the days of Willful Neglect and Blind Approach. From those same St. Paul streets comes Any Last Words. High energy fast Hardcore which brings to mind recent bands like Lifes Halt and No Justice and the faster late 80's SE bands like early Youth of Today or No For an Answer. Any Last Words have a cult following in the upper midwest but are practically unknown beyond this region. This 7" should open up the eyes of thrash fans world wide to their awesome power. The songs on this 7" are the best from their demo and some new tracks all recorded by Tim Mac and produced with his trademark crunch. (Mac recorded Damage Deposit and Holding On as well) Critical Colin who did double duty in Damage Deposit provides some great artwork on the front and back cover. Lyrically Any Last Words are a sincere and thoughtful band with current political commentary while still being incredibly pissed off at everything. ALW takes on GW Bush and his war, emo, work, fashioncore and society and still finds time to contribute the uproarious song "I wish I could skate". Critical Twin Cities Hardcore!

Another Oppressive System hail from Connecticut, the cradle of raw American crust, which has produced such bands as Deformed Conscience, State of Fear, React, Dissension, etc. Keeping up with local tradition they have assembled three of their finest tracks of power crust with urgent political lyrics. Human Waste are from Sweden and represent the perfect trans-Atlantic counterpunch, with three powerful tracks of their own similarly brutal and political crust.

The Apers are back and better than ever! This split features the band's first two songs with their new guitarist, Kelvin Centerfold. They've gone back to doing what they do best - rocking your socks off with the punkrock that don't stop! We're talking power pop punk to max! Tons of fun and energy all smothered in lovey-dovey heartbreak and heartache. This is classic, even by Aper standards... You can't put together an Apers split with just any band. You need a great band to be able to stand on their own when split with the Apers. But why settle for just a 'great band'? Instead, we went out and got a certifiable pop punk powerhouse called the Sonic Dolls! These German punkrockers have been pumping out the pop punk longer than just about any other band in all of Europe. Their two tracks are so heavily guitar driven and thick with buzz you'd swear they're playing power-tools and not instruments! But don't think for a second they forgot the hooks at home, no way! You'd never think something so savage could sound so sweet.
